I use analog photography as a medium for capturing the interplay between light, shadow, and the nuances of human experience. I look for the sensual interactions of light in instances that highlight a profound appreciation for the subtleties of life, sometimes, just to light itself. At the heart of all the work is a love for life, for those moments in-between moments, and for the manner in which light moves through three-dimesional space: refracting, dispersing, converging, casting shadow, hiding or displaying moments between moments. I capture peacefulness, lust, loneliness, brotherhood, friendship, but most importantly, through wonder, curiosity, and play. I don’t always capture moments that are “real” but certainly try to look for or create moments that are true.
